Monolith is firm known by making very fair quality games. Whether action or whatever else. And even Blood isn’t an exception. In the matter fact it’s succesor or maybe just rival to much succesful Doom. You’ll appear as the main hero in the land of dead and you are ought to shoot your way through it to the final boss. You start at the graveyard and you are subsequentaly fighting your way through mortuary, cathedral, train and other locations. You have got just prong in the beginning at your disposal, but during the game you’ll get to much more effective and exotic weapons. But you have to use just that what is at your disposal at that time. So you’ll try pistol, machine gun, dynamite, voodoo etc. I’ve got a feeling the Blood is one of the first games where were a possibility of shooting with two uzis at one time-one uzi each hand. Build engine gives a distinct image to the game and possibilty to play it in 800x600 resolution. Sounds are on quite high level and they can scare in a dark atmosphere. Music supports game’s environment. It’s going on quite eery and blood matter, so I don’t recommend it for younger then 15 years. Everyone without difference of age will enjoy it certainly for some time.
